Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshman Walks To The Forest

According to Ramayana, Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana was asked by Queen Mother Kaikeyi to leave the Kingdom of Ayodhya and go on an exile to the forest for 14 years.

When Rama, Sita and Lakshmana went on exile, they set up a hut in Panchavati, an area near Nashik. Lord Rama is an avatar (incarnation) of the Supreme Lord Sriman Narayana who ruled the Earth as a very righteous King. Lord Rama is a descendant of Ajapti, grand father of Lord Rama.

Tapovan  is a small hill top in Nashik. Tapovan is also known as Tapasya Van. 'Van' ( वन ) in Sanskrit means forest, Tapasya(तपस्या) means austerity. Tapasya Van means, a forest for practicing austerity. This place is very siginificant in the epic of Ramayana. It is believed to be the place where Laxman had cut the nose of Shurpanaka. In fact, Nashik derives its name from nasika, 'nasika' in Sanskrit means nose(नासिका) because of the incident when Laxman cut Shurpanaka's nose. More Information on Nashik, Maharashtra.

The above picture resembles Lord Rama going on exile with Sita with tulsi in her hand (a kind of medicinal leaf) and Rama and Laxman holding bow&arrow and spear in their hands. The picture is a mural at the Museo Civico Archeologico in Bologna, Italy, according to the image source. Etruscan civilization is an ancient Roman civilization and Etruscan people are considered to be the ancestors of Romans.

Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus on 21st April, 753 BC many thousand years after Ramayana was believed to happen. Romulus and Remus were known to be abandoned by their father and was considered to be twin brothers born to Rhea Silvia.

Lord Rama from Ramayana had two sons whom he abandoned and they were nurtured only by their mother, Goddess Sita Devi. The astrological calculation when Lord Rama was ruling the earth is mentioned to be happened around 7000 BC. Lord Rama ruled during Treta Yuga and the life span of people during this yuga was 10000 years. Rama Navami, the birth of Rama is generally celebrated during the month of April and many times, it has fallen on 21st of April.

As per Stephen Knapp and other sources on the internet, this is a scene delineated in ancient Italian homes. Italian archaeologists express bewilderment at these paintings because they are unaware that ancient Europe including Italy has arts depicting details described in Ramayana. The above picture depicts Rama, Sita and Laxman walking through the forest in an order described in Ramayana.

”अयं बन्धुरयं नेति गणना लघुचेतसाम् | उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् || ”

ayaṁ bandhurayaṁ nēti gaṇanā laghucētasām | udāracaritānām tu vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam ||

Discrimination saying "this one is a relative; this other one is a stranger" is for the mean-minded. For those who're known as magnanimous, the entire world constitutes but a family.
The above verse is found V.3.37 of Panchatantra (3rd century BCE), in the in 1.3.71 of Hitopadesha - (12th century CE).From "vasudhā", (वसुधा, the earth); "ēva" (एव ) = indeed is; and "kutumbakam" (कुटुंबकं, family;) is a Sanskrit phrase which means "the world is one family"(Reference: https://en.wikipedia.org)
